A trip to the Battleship Park for 12 Veterans from the William F. Green Veterans Home is planned for Saturday, 26 July 2008, followed by Lunch at a local pizza house.
Stage at Wal-Mart in Bay Minette, 0715, KSU 0730 for the William F. Green Veterans Home.
Depart from the Veterans Home to arrive at Battleship Park at 0900. Departing the Park at 1100 for lunch.
Battleship Park is providing free entrance to the Veterans and Fairhope DAV is buying the Veterans lunch.
Your help is needed as most of these Veterans are wheelchair bound.
