Mobile Alabama area has lost another young Defender of Freedom.

The Department of Defense announced the death of a Sailor who was supporting Operation Enduring Freedom.

            Cryptologic Technician Third Class Petty Officer Matthew J. O'Bryant, 22, of Theodore Alabama, died September 20 in the bombing of the Marriott Hotel in Islamabad, Pakistan. Petty Officer O'Bryant was assigned to the Navy Information Operations Command Maryland, Fort Meade, Md.

Gulf Coast Patriot Guard has been invited by the family of this young Sailor to attend and stand/escort.

Stage for funeral Monday September 29th,  1130am-12noon at the Wal-Mart parking lot at Rangeline Rd in Tillmans Corner.  Rangeline is also known as Hwy 193 off of I-10.  There is a Ruby Tuesdays right in front of the Wal-Mart.

Due to traffic restrictions by Police escort, only a few Mobile area GCPG members will escort our Sailor from the Mobile Airport tomorrow, Friday.
Matthew O"Bryant gave his life as a Defender of Freedom, please do whatever you can to attend this mission on Monday Sept 29th. He gave everything for us.

Please bring a large American Flag for a Flag line.
This Mission will be led by Tattoo Dave.
