IIf there was ever a word which described the men and women of the United States Armed Forces, that word would be patriotic. Brave young men and women volunteer to place themselves in harm's way to protect and defend the principles and freedoms that we, as Americans, hold so dear. As American citizens, we are reminded every day of the sacrifices which they are called upon to make in the accomplishment of their mission.

I If there was ever a word which described the members of the Gulf Coast Patriot Guard , that word would be respect. Gulf Coast Patriot Guard members, out of a deep and unwavering respect for the young men and women of the United States Armed Forces, volunteer to honor, protect and support these American Heroes and their families. The Gulf Coast Patriot Guard's primary mission is to attend the funeral services of fallen American Heroes as invited guests of the family in order show our sincere respect for our fallen Heroes, their grieving families, and their communities, and shield the mourning family and their friends from interruptions created by any protestor or group of protestors. Secondarily, we participate in and support civic and charitable projects which aid past and present military members across the country.

Freedom Isn't Free

"The average American will never understand the price of their freedom until they have been to the funeral of someone who has paid it".
